We just got the trailer for ‘Kung-Fu Panda 2‘. It will be released on May 27th 2011 and will bring back the adventures of the legendary band of Kung-fu warriors: Tiger, Crane, Viper, Mantis and Monkey and Master Shi-fu. They’ll be lead by the overweighted panda Po. In the sequel they’ll have to get along well with another band of warriors (including a skunk and a rhinoceros) to defeat an even turkey who plans to unveil a secret weapon to spread evil all over the world.
But what is really impressive about this movie is the actors selected to dub the characters. Jack Black, much used to children’s comedies, will be Jack Black again. But the twice oscarized actor Dustin Hoffman will dib Shi-fu and another legend, Gary Oldman, (who played Drácula for Coppola) will be behind the bad guy’s voice. Angelina Jolie repeats with the tigress, Jean-Claude VanDamme joins the crew, and Lucy Liu and Jackie Chan will also give their voices to the movie.
The movie will come in 3D right after the launch of a videogame.
